Thank You and Farewell to Jim and Helen Elliott

The Board of Directors and numerous EHRHOA members wish to extend a huge THANK YOU! to Jim and Helen Elliott for all of their services and time dedicated to the betterment of our neighborhood during their residence here at East Hatchet Ranch. They will be relocating closer to their children and grandchildren once their new home is built.
As many of you know, in the past Jim served on the Board for 4 years, 3 of them in the position of President. He was also involved with the Front Entrance Committee and as is usual with Jim did a great deal of work to help bring the new sign to completion. Jim has served as the Chairman for the Road Committee for a number of years. During his tenure he has given hours of his time performing the duties of that position. Thank you, Jim, for all of your hard work, knowledge and use of your personal vehicles whether it be the miles driven in your truck checking roads or on your tractor mowing weeds. Thank you, Helen, for your generous contribution of being without your husband during storms and crises that come with living on the Ranch. We are really going to miss you two!
In addition to Jim's time on the Road Committee he also became involved in the Rye Fire District helping to incorporate EHR into their district and bringing medical and fire assistance closer for all of our members. The position he filled there will also become open and if any EHR member is interested in filling the remaining eight months of Jim's term they should contact Steve Bennett of the Rye Fire District for the requirements. As we all can understand, it is a benefit to our Association and neighborhood to have one of our members involved with the District.
During the transition time for the Road Committee, please contact Pat Grau Russell (676-2872) or Ted Christakes (676-2773) with any problems or concerns with the roads.
