! ! ! Road Closure May 29, 2020 ! ! !

posted Jun 7, 2020, 1:44 PM by EastHatchet Admin

The Road Committee has planned another magnesium chloride and sugar beet extract application for parts of the main road on Friday, May 29, 2020.  The area begins at the front entrance and continues up to Safayan Hill (the first paved area on Pine Bluff Drive East).  The second area is from the top of Cattle Guard Hill (second paved area on Sunflower Lane) up to the “S” curve on Sunflower.

As magnesium chloride is very corrosive and sugar beet extract is very sticky, this combination is not good for vehicles.  Once this mixture percolates into the road base and hardens, it will help to stabilize our road base on our most traveled roads.

These areas will be closed to traffic beginning approximately 9:30am and will reopen approximately 4:00pm.

Alternate routes include Railroad Spring to Cedarwood Road.  Please give yourself plenty of time for this detour.

There will be volunteer traffic coordinators from our neighborhood to help direct you to the safest exit from the Ranch.  If you would like to volunteer to help with this project, please contact Dan Warren at 676-2729.

            Thank you for your patience.

 Your EHRHOA Road Committee
